Hosted every two years in the inmense Halls of Koelnmesse, an international trade fair and exhibition center located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the Anuga Trade Show gathers some of the most important names in the food business. Just this year, around 7405 exhibitors got to show their products off to an audience of about 165.000 visitors! and among those exhibitors, was MARPENSA TRADING, introducing the world to our delicious plantain chips!
For five straight days (from oct. 7 through 11), we served a staggering ammount of visitors. We were very happy to meet so many wonderful people, from lots of different cultures, some of which have never seen plantain chips before, and where overwhelmed by their unique and delicious taste!.
We made sure to bring different product configurations to appeal to a broader audience, from our standards: lightly salted and naturally sweet, to our specials: lemon, cheese, bacon, mediterranean, and the very spicy fire! and we got a lot of great feedback and encouraging comments from the attendees.
It was a great experience, and not only did we got to see familiar faces amongst our clients, but we also got to establish some great new business relationships along the way.
